I'm back

This has been a long time coming. I make no promises on updating this, as I have never been able to keep it updated in the past, but at least now I feel a greater desire to update and create something that I like writing. And if anyone reads it and finds it interesting, then that's ok too. One thing is definitely different--my perspective on blogging. Before, I felt a need, an obligation even, to write whatever I was thinking/feeling and never press backspace and never censor myself. Well I can't do that, that's insane. So instead I will focus on writing what I want to write. Whatever I want.

There's a few things that I've wanted to do. I've wanted to create my own website and I've wanted to post all of my palm pictures online. Well, I plan to do the first one. It may just be on my VT filebox and you'll have to click on filenames, but that's still better than nothing. I don't have enough time or desire to write my own website and maintain it. Yes, right now I have some free time, but the semester just started and frankly I'm enjoying slacking off.

BTW, as far as pictures go, I highly recommend this fairly new software from Google called Picassa 2. If you've ever seen/used iPhoto for Mac, its something like that.

I think this blog is going to be something like the above comment. I waste WAY too much time scanning RSS feeds of news sites, blogs, photo blogs and http://del.icio.us (also highly recommended if you enjoy browsing random collections of links). It would be useful to myself, and hopefully others, if I post links to some of those pages that I find interesting. I will also continue, as I please, to post snippets of poetry, quotes, or basically whatever I want. I will update as frequently as I please, which I hope to be frequently.
