sunsets ripples oil spots under the brightly lit ceiling of the sky.
My mind soaring up into infinite heights leaping flying up the palisades into the dome of night.
beyond the stars.
beyond the night.
to a time when men were men,
naked under the sun,
basking freely under allweather loves,
passions circling flooring in the night,
rising and falling tick tick tick under the sheets.

Under the bridge flying.
streetlights grumble at the passing of time.
The rain falls down the windows,
down the drain.
The corpses collect, gleaming under the sun,
before lightsafe baggies envelope all.
The names never existed,
their photographs toted in the streets to the anger of all.
Blank tombstones.

Flying back across the night,
Tears flowing,
bent forward, back and forth.

Sex is Nothing.

Flying back,
leaping into the sky,
all in motion, in balance,
along the ocean.
The waves toss back,
and forth.
Up and down,
riding and spiraling,
down.
Cold droplets on skin--Immersion.
Drowning--close your eyes.
Feel the water.
Feel the night go black.

no titles

electronic orgasm
empty contorted beast
there is no blood
no blood
lying
naked on the floor
on the cold dirty tiles
alone in the dark
legs like some mannequin
shapeless and frail
ready to snap
off like a bomb
and the silence follows sirens
there is no blood
no blood
but there are bodies
there it lies
and there it lies
Fuck
screaming hatred
echoes in the temple
godless fucking in the darkness
cacophonous to every heart soul and
genuine ear within a thousand miles of this cold shattered glass
gasp
and death fills the room
and then
and then
the temple is empty
empty.

Truisms for the Day

There is no such thing as a suburban environmentalist.

Beauty is not statistical.

Haven't posted in a while...

I guess I haven't really had time. I don't really have time now, but I feel like doing it anyway. I'm waiting for my laundry to finish drying while reading my Operating Systems book. Ok, so, updates. I haven't posted, or taken, for that matter, pictures in forever. I will get on this. I read Da Vinci Code recently. I thought it was a pretty good book, albeit inconsistent about its facts being actual facts and a little predictable at times. It was an entertaining read, although I don't feel like I got anything out of it and it didn't ever make me go "whoa." Of course, On The Road is a hard act to follow, I suppose, and Dave Eggers (whom I am reading now) would do a decent job at this. I know there's lots of comparisons floating around between On the Road and You Shall Know Our Velocity! and I definitely think these are well founded. They are both brilliantly written pieces of prose that I will definitely read again. With many books I grow bored and long for a finish, but with both of these books I just wanted to keep reading. Extremely well written literature is hard to come by. Anyway, I don't feel like writing anymore. Short post I guess, but better than nothing.
